FAQs

When should we book our marriage celebrant?

You need to give a minimum of one month’s notice that you plan to marry and the paperwork can not be completed more than 18 months before the ceremony. That said it is a good idea to begin to look for a celebrant as soon as you have the date, time and location of your ceremony.

We don’t live in Camden however we would like to book you for our wedding. Do we have to meet before the wedding?

There are a number of things that need to occur for me to legally marry you. While this can be done remotely it is far easier for me to provide the paperwork, witness the signatures and sight all the relevant documentation in person.  Just give me a call and we will work something out.

Our wedding is not in Camden, do you do weddings outside of Camden?

I love to travel and would be more than happy to do so to help you celebrate your wedding. If you are considering booking me for a wedding outside of Camden or Campelltown, please let me know as soon as possible because it can difficult to coordinate my travel if I have other ceremonies to perform in Camden & surrounds.

Our wedding is only small, does that matter?

As long as the three of us are there and we can arrange for two adult witnesses to attend, that is all you need to create your special day.

How long should we allow for our wedding ceremony?

Most take between 20 and 30 minutes. It is best not to rush away after the ceremony – don’t forget there will people lining up to hug, kiss and congratulate you!

Can we write our own vows?

You certainly can and I am more than happy to assist you with that if you need a little help getting them started.

What time will you be there?

At least 30 minutes prior to the ceremony, mostly likely it will be even earlier than that. You can ask anyone, I have been on time to everything I have ever attended!

What if you are sick?

Unless I am having emergency surgery to save my life, I will be there.

Do you do more than one wedding per day?

If timings and locations allow ample time to get from one to another I will. I leave nothing to chance and always give myself plenty of time to arrive at the location factoring in Sydney’s often challenging traffic conditions.
